I take pictures. I currently live in Tokyo, Japan.
I was born and raised in Binghamton, New York. A graduate of Binghamton University, I spent a few years living in Washington, D.C. before settling in New York. I live in South Slope, Brooklyn.
When I moved to New York City in June 2007, I found myself captivated by the city’s energy, mystery and attitude. During this time, I developed a strong interest in photography. Without the City and a friend I met along the way, my interest in photography may have never been realized.
I think of a camera as a pen; in my current project, I have set out to write about Chinatown, Manhattan. The project is my love letter to a culturally vibrant neighborhood. A “town” still fraught with grit, discovery and mystery.
